Sony' new external memory card reader

The product comes with USB 2.0 interface and requires no additional power, the company said in a statement.

Introducing the new card, Edmund Tan, assistant manager– sales and marketing for computer peripherals products in applications & devices marketing (Singapore) - a division company of Sony Electronics, said, “Today when most of the users use one or the other type of memory card, it becomes vital to introduce an external card reader that can be carried and used easily anywhere.”

The new external model can read the following popular types of cards that include, memory stick duo memory stick PRO, memory stick PRO duo, memory stick micro, CompactFlash, microdrive, SmartMedia, xD-Picture card, SD memory card, mini SD sard, multi media card and RS-MNC.

Elaborating about the new model, Kapal Pansari, director – Rashi Peripherals, said, “Now to be able to get the data on to your PC or laptop one needs to have a good quality card reader, and with Sony one can be sure of quality and reliability.”
